T-shirt Design Contest

We are looking for a design that will convey our mission of Hope and Help for addiction and mental health disorders, and advertise our upcoming event.  The sale of these T-shirts will help raise funds for The Serenity Scholarship. 


Submissions deadline is Monday, April 15, 2019




  • The contest is open to students attending 

    • Cowanesque Valley High School

    • Williamson High School

    • Wellsboro Area High School

    • Addison Middle/High School

    • Jasper/Troupsburg

    • Northern Potter

    • North Penn-Liberty 

  • Each Entrant must be 13 years of age or older

  • The design can be on the front and/or back of the T-shirt

  • The design should NOT exceed a total of 2 printing colors

  • The Entrant can propose a base color for the T-shirt

  • Your design must be inspired to help raise awareness of hope and help, and to help break the stigma placed on addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders

  • Your design should include the following:

    • ‘Rally for Serenity - 2019 Rock and Rumble’ 

      • Motorcycles

      • Guitars

      • etc

    • Add the Slogan- Warrior for Recovery – Be Proactive, Not Reactive

  • No more than three (3) entries may be submitted by one Entrant


  • Your design must be wholly original.  By submitting a design, you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyright material.

  • Design shall not exceed ART on 8 ½” x 11” dimension

  • Designs will only be accepted electronically and submitted via a digital file in jpg, png, or pdf of RESOLUTION 600 dpi or higher to: serenityscholarship@gmail.com

  • If design is hand-drawn, it must be scanned and converted to a jpg, png, or pdf of Resolution 600 dpi or higher

  • Submission should not be in a PDF file larger than 5 MB






  • There is no entry fee

  • This contest is an effort to help promote an upcoming event and to promote positive values of supporting hope and help for addiction and mental health within our communities.  All entries that infringe on this goal will automatically disqualify.

  • By participating in the T-shirt design contest, the entrant acknowledges that the design is wholly original; does not include or incorporate any elements that would necessitate third party contest; and does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy right or any other third-party individual or group.

  • By entering, the Entrant grants The Serenity Scholarship Committee and affiliates sole ownership of the design.

  • By entering, the Entrant grants The Serenity Scholarship Committee and affiliates permission to make public and otherwise use the winner’s name and country of residents for publicity purposes across all forms of social media, text and video publications. 

  • The Serenity Scholarship Committee and affiliates reserves the right to edit, composite, scan, duplicated or alter the design for any purpose which it deems necessary or desirable, without the need for any compensation and/or permission

  • The winning entry will be judged by selected Serenity Scholarship Committee members and affiliates

  • The Serenity Scholarship Committee and affiliates reserves the right to not select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received

  • By entering, the entrant acknowledges and grants permission for the words “The Serenity Scholarship” to be printed on the right sleeve of the T-shirt

  • All designs should be respectful

  • All designs should be submitted electronically to: serenityscholarship@gmail.com, by April 15, 2019
